Established in 1970, General Grinding Limited is a locally owned and operated machine shop incorporated in 1977. Starting with a surface grinder (blanchard), the company began by sharpening industrial knives, slitters, shears, trimmers and dies for the pulp and paper, printing and metal manufacturing industries. With the addition of drills, lathes, grinders, milling, punching, shearing and welding equipment, the company expanded into sales, repairs and the manufacture of various components that can be difficult
